she crawls inch by inch
slowly
out of her hiding place
a dusty hand woven basket
a mundane home for a magickal being
writhing intent
dancing to the sound of a blind player
tasting the air
a new age

humanity
echoes

bringing the light

a single candle burns brightly

her shadow brings the end
she hovers over a sleeping form
eyes intent on the kill

dancing death's rhythm
